Itinerary

After an early breakfast, depart your hotel for Marangu Gate for check-in and trekking formalities. Begin your hike through tropical forest and scenic trails, arriving at Mandara Hut (2700m) for dinner and overnight stay.

Following breakfast, continue your ascent with a packed lunch toward Horombo Camp (3700m). Trek through moorlands and enjoy the changing landscapes along the way. Arrive at Horombo Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Spend a full day at Horombo Camp for acclimatization, with optional short hikes to nearby points of interest. Rest, enjoy the scenery, and prepare your body for higher altitudes. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

After breakfast, begin the ascent to Kibo Hut (4700m), trekking through alpine desert and rocky terrain. Arrive at the hut for dinner and overnight stay, resting in preparation for the summit attempt.

Start a midnight trek toward the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, reaching Uhuru Peak (5895m) for sunrise. Descend back to Kibo Hut for breakfast, then continue to Horombo Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, descend from Horombo Camp to Marangu Gate for check-out. Meet your vehicle transfer back to Arusha, marking the end of the Marangu Route trek.
